Yellow Magic CEO Ron Mintle recently shared his thoughts on the success of directory publishers with Dave Goddard at The Goddard Report, in the article "Mintle Sees Success in Blended Approach to Local Search as Print and Digital Collide."
"If you’re just print, you’re probably singing the blues, losing money and blaming print and the economy," Mintle said. "And, if you’re digital? Most aren’t doing well because they are competing in a space that is not brand conscious because users and advertisers are fickle on digital. And, who’s successful? People who don’t say ‘I am digital or I am print.’ It is people who say ‘I’m going to serve the buyer and the seller.'"
The Goddard Report (formerly Yellow Pages & Directory Report) has been the leading independent source of timely news and objective analysis on the yellow pages industry for more than 25 years, delivering breaking stories about key mergers & acquisitions; expansion efforts and new releases; financial results at top companies; new sales contracts; and management changes.

What Our Customers Are Saying
There is no doubt that Yellow Magic has had the opportunity to work with some of the finest directory publishers and production staffs across the globe. "What Others Say About You" has always been important feedback for our executive team because it not only offers direction on how to continue to improve your product, service and customer service, it is also a very powerful morale-lifter for the entire company when "What They Say" is genuine, kind and complimentary.
We've just posted a few comments from some of our publishers that have been using Yellow Magic Directory Publishing software, on our home page. YellowMagic
The comments add a variety of perspectives over many years of usage.
We really appreciate any and all feedback we get from our users, for we are indeed, partners in our mutual success.

Yellow Magic Announces Local Search Association Sustainability Report Mobile App Ready for Apple & Android
Yellow Magic is Proud to Sponsor the Mobile Apple
and Android App for the Local Search Association Sustainability Report.
The app uses Yellow Magic's YelloTouchTechnology that enables users to view a digital version of printed materials
such as the print directories. The pages can either be viewed online or
downloaded to the mobile device and thereafter no Internet connection or data
usage is required to view the publication. And moreover, pages can be updated
at any time to continue selling into the directory and to keep it current.
To use the apps:
First, if you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod
Touch, search for LSA Report on the Apple App Store and install the app. If you have an Android
phone or tablet, search for LSA Report on the Android Market (Google Play) and install the app.
When you first run the app you will be given a
quick-reference help screen and you can always go to Help to see detailed
instructions, but here is a quick summary of what you can do.
You will have the choice to use the app online or to just download all of
the content to your device.
On Apple devices, single-touch a page to
access the controls including the Table of Contents, Thumbnails, Search,
Bookmarks and Help. On Android devices, use the menu button.
Touch a Thumbnail to go to that page.
On Apple devices, double-touch (double-tap
or use two fingers) to zoom. When in the Zoom mode, all URLs, e-mail addresses
and phone numbers are hot. It is only in Zoom mode that you can
access the hot links on Apple devices.
Use a two-finger "pinch" to zoom
in and out.
If you are on a phone (not a tablet) touch
a telephone number to dial.
And if you would like to see where,
when, and how much the LSA Sustainability Report apps have been used, go here:
Enjoy!

Yellow Magic Announces Kindle Fire Winner at 2012 Annual Convention & Partners Trade Show, LeAnn Robinson, Manager, KPG Media Group, KPC Phone Books

“I do not consider myself lucky so I did not really think about winning, but I won! Not only that, but the ADP Convention had a series of prizes to give away in another drawing based upon a card you fill out and get stamped for meeting with someone at the trade show booths.” Robinson continues, “Although I filled it out, I forgot to put my name on it! I went to the ADP Convention coordinator later after I realized I forgot to add my name and asked if they had found a card without a name on it.” They did find it, and added my name on the card. A little later I heard my name called out not only as the winner of Yellow Magic’s Kindle Fire drawing, but also, I had won $100 from the ADP,” exclaimed Ms. Robinson.
“That day was very lucky for me. I had always wanted a tablet, or Kindle or iPad, but I was not sure which one to choose,” she said. “The Kindle Fire is great and I have already downloaded a book based upon a suggestion to me from a member of the ADP, regarding Boundaries at work and life, and achieving success – I also downloaded a game,” she added.
LeAnn summed up her great experience at the ADP Strategic Session Meetings with Yellow Magic’s team the and Convention and Trade show at ADP with this final comment: “I was really glad I went to the ADP Convention because I got the boost I needed - a boost of energy!”
"We look forward to our second drawing for the Kindle Fire at the Local Search Association Conference in Boca Raton, Florida," added Ron Mintle, CEO, Yellow Magic Incorporated.
